This is the last day of Summer Term it is the School's Grand Day. All those on Parade and not in the Band wear Scarlet Jackets. The Pupils during this term start their rehearsals for the big day.  Drill, drill, and more drill. Well it was in my time there. I was a wee bit lucky being a Piper you became invisible whilst in the Band. My one big downfall was my Slow Marching, for some reason my toes always done what they wanted, pointed up instead of down. During my early years in the Guards I still had that same problem. Funny aint it, now in my dotage whenever I do a wee bit of slow marching I couldnt for the life of me point my toes up. he! he!  So if you know of anyone who would like an auld codger great at slow Marching sling me an e mail.
